Crystal Tseng Portraits offers a custom portraiture experience and creates premium quality artistic portraits for your family to keep from generation to generation. For each photography project, we charge a creative fee to retain your photo session and a fee for final customized products, such as wall portraits, heirloom albums, etc of your choice. The creative fee covers the outfit consultations, cost and time for a one-hour professional photoshoot production. Our general pricing is as below.
A. Creative Fee
The creative fee is due upon booking a session and it covers the time and our expertise for a professional photoshoot for one hour. The creative fee for each project is as follows.
Please note that the creative fee does NOT include images, files and photography products. You will need to order customized products for preserving your portraits from your session.

After the photoshoot, Crystal will help you find out the best photos out of the best to create your dream wall portraits for your home or preserve your most beautiful portraits in our heirloom products (Album, Folio box, framed table top photo, etc).
Professionally retouched and edited images of Crystal's signature style begin at $200/ each image. Heirloom Portrait Collections (genuine leather albums and folio boxes) begin at $1650 for 10 high-end retouched and edited images of your choice and Fine Art Wall Portraits begin at $550. Families typically spend between $2500 and $7000 in their portraiture, with an average investment of $3500.
The pricing for the products fully covers the retouching and editing service fee, design fee, and final products. We offer complimentary digital files for web sharing and for making small prints with all printed products. (Please note that digital files are bundled with physical products only and are not sold separately.)
All sales will incur a 6% sales tax. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Headshots
Corporate and business Headshots begin at $250, suitable for general business purpose, residency application, etc. Images are focused on from the head to the shoulder. Creative Headshots begin at $350 (suitable for designers, CEOs, etc. or for those who need half-full body shots)
A corporate headshot session typically lasts around 10-15 minutes, while a creative headshot session extends to 20 minutes and allows for up to three outfit changes. In the photo session, you will receive constant guidance throughout the photoshoot and select the photo you love the best for final editing and retouching. The final products will be one high-end retouched and edited digital image with a complimentary 5x7 professionally printed photo.

A 24" by 24' Vintage Framed Fine Art Portraits we created for Stefanie's family. Frequently Asked Questions
What packages do you offer for the photoshoot?
There is no pre-committed bundled packages for you to book a session. You will pay a session fee for us to design and start your portraiture journey. After the photoshoot, Crystal will help you customize your order on the photos you love after you see all the images from your photoshoot. You may choose to preserve your memories in our sustainable photo products, such as professionally varnished canvas wall portraits or heirloom photo albums.
What is the session fee?
The session fee covers one hour of design and outfit consultations, cost, time and my expertise for a professional photoshoot and production. (Photos and products are sold separately.)
How much is a family portrait session?
Depending on the custom products you want Crystal to create for you, our Heirloom Portrait Collections begin at $1650 and Fine Art Wall Portraits begin at $550.
What is a consultation appointment? When do I need one?
A consultation appointment is an in-person appointment where we will discuss your needs and expectations and design for your photoshoot. It is also the chance I get to know about you, your family and all the personalities that will help get everyone engaged in the photoshoot. I will help you schedule a consultation appointment after a pre-consultation via email.
I don't know what to wear for my photoshoot, can you help with that?
Yes! At your design and consultation appointment, we will design and discuss your outfits for your photoshoot. You will also be provided with our styling website to get inspired afterward. When you have a better idea about your outfits, you are encouraged to send me a snapshot of your outfits for final touching-up ideas!!! I am prompt in answering your questions via email.
As for a newborn session, I fully cover your baby's outfits and props for the newborn session. For a maternity session, I provide maternity gowns for moms to be. You are very welcome to try them on at your consultation appointment.
How long will I receive my photos and products?
You will have your ordering appointment for viewing all the photos we take and ordering your photos within 5-7 days after your photoshoot. You will receive your retouched and edited digital copies in 10 business days after your ordering appointment. The final printed products will be ready for you about 2-3 weeks after your ordering appointment.
Do you offer an online gallery for ordering the photos?
Due to the design nature, we currently help you with your order through an in-person appointment. At your appointment, I will help you find the best portraits of your family and the perfect size to hang in your sweet home. I will show you how your wall portraits will really look like in your home. I will also help you find the best customized products to preserve your memories out of your absolutely favorite images.
Can I purchase digital files only?
Crystal Tseng Photography is a boutique studio that designs and creates artistic portraits in the form of archival-grade products that will keep your beautiful images over years and years. We do not sell high-resolution digital files separately; however, sharable-sized digital files of the images from your order will come with your printed products (e.g. wall portraits, album etc.). You may share them with friends on the internet or make unlimited small prints on your own. (Please note that you will not receive all the unedited digital files unless they are the images you order for editing and retouching.)
Do you allow pets in the photoshoot?
Yes, for outdoor sessions. I welcome your fur family in the outdoor photoshoot. However, unfortunaly at the moment I do not take pets inside the studio as we share the studio space with newborn babies.
How do you design the wall arts portraits for my home?
You will need to provide a picture of your wall(s) and the wall measurements needed for the design purpose. I will be happy to help with that at your house if needed.
Do you offer installation for the wall portraits?
Professional installation can be ordered at $199. For order over $5000 in one order, we offer complimentary wall portraits installation.
