I’m not photogenic. Will you help me look my best?

Absolutely. Your session is fully guided from beginning to end. I’ll direct your posture, posing, angles, and expression so you feel relaxed, confident, and naturally refined in every portrait.​

I don’t have a clear vision yet. Can I still book?

Absolutely. You don’t need to arrive with a fully formed vision. During your consultation, we’ll explore the mood, styling, setting, and story you want your portraits to convey. I’ll help shape those ideas into a cohesive portrait experience.​

What should I wear?

Wardrobe is an important part of the portrait experience. During your consultation, we’ll discuss colors, textures, silhouettes, and how each look works with the overall aesthetic of your portraits. You’re also welcome to send outfit photos for feedback before your session.

Do you help coordinate family outfits?

Yes. I’ll help you create a cohesive look for your family, considering colors, textures, silhouettes, and how everything will photograph together. You’re welcome to send outfit snapshots for final feedback.

Do you provide wardrobe?
For newborn sessions, I provide studio outfits and selected props. For maternity sessions, a selection of gowns is available to try during your consultation. For family and personal portrait sessions, I provide personalized styling guidance to help you choose the right pieces for your vision.

Do I need a consultation?

For most portrait experiences, yes. The consultation is an important part of the process and allows us to discuss your vision, styling, expectations, and the overall design of your session. It also gives us an opportunity to get to know one another before the camera comes out.

 

Can we bring our own ideas or inspiration?

Of course. Your ideas are welcome. We can incorporate references that resonate with you while shaping them into something cohesive with my artistic direction and your personality.

 

 

DURING YOUR PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE

Will I be guided during the photoshoot?

Yes. You won’t be expected to know how to pose or what to do in front of the camera. I’ll guide you through posing, movement, angles, and expression throughout the session.

I’m nervous about how my children or family will behave.

You’re not alone—and you don’t need to worry about creating a perfectly behaved family for the camera. Sessions are paced gently, with room for movement, breaks, and natural interaction. I’ll work with your family’s energy rather than against it.

How involved will you be during the session?

Very. Art direction is an essential part of my approach. I’ll guide the composition, posing, lighting, wardrobe transitions, and overall flow so you can simply be present in the experience.

What makes your portrait experience different? 

My approach combines thoughtful art direction with a calm, highly guided experience. From wardrobe and composition to posing and final artwork, every element is considered with intention. My goal is not simply to create beautiful photographs, but to make the process itself feel effortless, personal, and meaningful.

AFTER YOUR SESSION

When will I see my portraits?

After your session, we’ll schedule an in-person ordering appointment where you’ll see your portraits and select the images and artwork that speak to you.

How does the ordering experience work?

Your ordering appointment is a personal, in-studio experience. I’ll guide you through your portraits and help you select the images and artwork that best suit your vision and home.

Do you offer an online gallery for ordering?

Currently, ordering is done in person rather than through an online gallery. This allows me to personally guide you through your portraits and help you make thoughtful decisions about your artwork.​​

PORTRAITS & ARTWORK

Can you help me design wall portraits for my home?

Yes. Wall artwork is thoughtfully designed around your space, the scale of the room, and the portraits you’ve selected. You can provide a photograph and measurements of your wall, or I can assist with the design in your home.

Do you offer installation?

Yes. Professional installation is available for wall portrait orders. Complimentary installation is included for qualifying orders.

 

What kinds of artwork do you offer?

The studio offers archival prints, wall portraits, and heirloom albums, with carefully selected materials and finishes designed for longevity.

Can I purchase digital files only?

The studio is intentionally centered around finished artwork rather than digital files alone. Digital files are included with selected artwork and portrait collections, allowing you to enjoy your images both online and in print.

Do your portrait collections include digital files?

Selected portrait collections include corresponding digital files. The specific number of files depends on the collection or artwork you choose.

​

How long does it take to receive my artwork?

Retouched digital files are typically delivered within 10 business days after your ordering appointment. Printed artwork generally takes approximately 2–3 weeks after the order is placed, depending on the product.

Do you allow pets in the photoshoot?

Pets are welcome for outdoor sessions. Because the studio is a shared space that also accommodates newborn sessions, pets are not currently permitted in studio sessions. Thank you for understanding as we maintain a pristine environment for our littlest clients
