Family portraits and wall art design, Savage family.
Making the wall arts for my family clients is definitely the most exciting part of each of my photography projects.
We meet and talk about the purpose of their photography project. I love when they unfold their personality and I sort of start to see the vision coming from their smiles and the sparks in their eyes. When I know this is important for them, I know it is important for me as well to come up with something that meet their expectations. In each project, I love how I can turn their vision into tangible photographs that only belong to them and their loved ones. And needless to say, handing over the products into their hands is always the highlight of each project. I mean how can you not feel emotional to see the tears of joy! I hope my family clients will always remember the fun and cherish their photos forever. Here is another project that really touched my heart.
...
Mom came to me looking for photography design for two walls in their new home. One wall is in the bright living room over the fireplace (no the picture below). The other one is in their family room painted in beautiful dark blue, which creating a night sky effect to me. Mom also told me the she has a beautiful teal dress that has the perfect texture for photography that we were talking about. In most circumstances, I would not recommend the color green as the primary outfits color especially when my client wanted to have their photos taken on the grassy area. But I decided to challenge myself and gave it a go. Fortunately, when I scouted the location, I found a rocky path where I could set them in without blending them into the grass and still keeping the spring greenery look. I really love how the photos turned out with the green outfits. How do you like them? The second outfits were a beautiful blue theme that perfectly resonated the night sky color wall in their family room. Blue and yellow are a perfect match. We were blessed to catch the beautiful yellowish orange sunset into the background , which really made their blue wall pop and added the nice warm tone to their family room.
When the products are setting at my studio ready for pick up, I couldn't help to look at them over and over again. So much love shredding from their pictures. Ahh! Below are some of their photos. I hope you will enjoy them.
