Among the blogs awaiting to post, I have a strong desire to share this one first!!!
As a woman over 40 myself, I personally feel 40s is by far my favorite age. I know myself better and begin to take care of myself better than the younger version of me. Life can be tougher at this age, juggling between work and family, but at the same time I realize I don’t have much time to waste in my life, so I plan my day around things I love and avoid things that are harmful. My 40's are a new chapter of life per se to me, saying goodbye to the young me and embracing the maturity and wisdom that have grown inside…
That's why I found Mojy's session so meaningful that I have to share sooner. (If there's some bias, then maybe it's because the confidence, fun, and beauty that shone through the photographs are really attractive to me. And I know we can all love ourselves the way we want to.)
Before we booked her session, I received an email from Mojy's husband, expressing that he wanted to gift his wife a photoshoot for her birthday and all the bills go to him. To me, this act was already super sweet and amazing. We then arranged the consultation with Mojy and learned about what this photoshoot was about. I was even more impressed soon after I learned the fact that this photo session was actually her own birthday wish - she was doing it for herself!
As you can see from the photos themselve, we had endless fun and creativity celebrating Mojy’s 40’s with the glamour photoshoot.
The idea was inspired by a portrait of Mojy's grandma hanging in the grandma's house. The photoshoot was then rooted around this vintage classic look. Simple and clean. No complicated outfits or makeup that took away her own beauty. Lighting was sophisticated to highlight her features. We were so glad for this opportunity to create something different from what we usually do and for we proudly delivered our deluxe folio box that would perfectly preserve her stunning portraits from generations to generations.
