Tea Top (Tea Top Ellicott City) is a brand new boba tea shop in Ellicott City as known as a chain tea shop imported from Taiwan, the country that is famous for its tea. The owner and her partner (both from China) insist that they only use the tea from Taiwan for the best quality. They also care about the health for their customers. Only cane sugar and real milk, instead of cream, are used to make their milk tea. Their taro drinks are made out of real taro instead of artificially flavored taro powder. This is not an easy commitment to make while they are priced similar to their competitors.
The spirit and atmosphere in the shop are bright and fun, targeting for young people. There are friendly employees who make you feel welcomed and the cute and fun decorations that brighten up the entire store. A really cozy place for young people to hang out or for tea lovers. Next time when you stop by, make sure you talk about tea with the owners. They are extremely passionate about tea.
